Compression of penetrator alloy.The specimens were supplied by Dr. Stan Jones.
The MTS 810 frame was used with FlexTest SE controller with the Multi-Purpose Testware from MTS.
An extremely hard alloy block (Ni-hard) was used between the compression platens and specimen to keep the test
specimen from indenting the platen. The bearing surfaces of the test specimen was lubricated with Molykote.
