Spot Welding Laboratory

The Spot Welding Laboratory became functional in the spring of 2002.  The lab features a 100 kVA pedestal welder,
Degensha Weldscope, and tools for determining the spot weld nugget diameter.  Rockwell and Knoop hardness testers
are available in the Mechanics of Materials Laboratory and the Metallurgy Laboratories, respectively.
